Columbus vs. Winnipeg

The Columbus Blue Jackets had been keeping a steady pace during the season, as they had won 11 of 14 games, but that has all collapsed after the team has lost the last three consecutive matches. Despite a series of setbacks, Columbus are still in 3rd place in the Metro Division and just four points behind first place.

Philadelphia vs. Boston

Thanks to the heroic performance of goalkeeper Anthony Stolarz, the Philadelphia Flyers were able to beat the Rangers with a score of 1-0 in their last match. Having appeared on for the first time since December 15, Stolarz collected 38 saves, making his 1st shutout on the year and only the 2nd of his career.

The Flyers have been looking good lately, as they won three games ahead of the break and two – after. This is their longest winning streak this year, but the Flyers are still in 13th place in the Eastern Conference and 10 points behind 8th place, that gives the right to play in the playoffs.
